Cześć, jestem Adam. Pracuję jako Cloud & Linux Engineer w Hostersi w Rybniku.

Na co dzień projektuję i utrzymuję infrastrukturę w AWS i Azure oraz w klasycznych data center. Automatyzuję, co się da (Terraform, Ansible, Bash), pilnuję monitoringu, a gdy coś się sypie, szukam przyczyny aż do skutku. Najważniejsze są dla mnie bezpieczeństwo, wysoka dostępność i prostota.

Do IT trafiłem w 2022 roku, po 17 latach w biznesie. Byłem kierownikiem produkcji, współwłaścicielem marki farb artystycznych Profil, a po jej sprzedaży doradcą w Paint it. Z tamtych lat zostało mi myślenie o kosztach, ludziach i o tym, żeby technologia rozwiązywała prawdziwe problemy.

„How far is to Valhalla?” to moje przypomnienie, że droga jest ważniejsza niż cel. Odwaga zmiany to pierwszy krok.

Hi, I'm Adam. I work as a Cloud & Linux Engineer at Hostersi in Rybnik, Poland.

Day to day I design and run infrastructure on AWS and Azure as well as in classic data centers. I automate whatever I can (Terraform, Ansible, Bash), keep an eye on monitoring, and when something breaks I dig until I find the root cause. Security, high availability and simplicity matter most to me.

I moved into IT in 2022, after 17 years in business. I was a production manager, co-owner of the Profil artist paint brand and, after selling it, an advisor at Paint it. Those years taught me to think about costs, people, and making technology solve real problems.

“How far is to Valhalla?” is my reminder that the journey matters more than the destination. The courage to change is the first step.
